Music Studio Manager – Malawi
This person would be primarily responsible for set up and operation of a recording studio at Dzaleka refugee camp. The role would involve working closely with refugee singers and musicians and mentoring them in regard to recording songs.
The appropriate person would need to be experienced in recording, mixing, mastering and have a passion for helping refugees reach their creative potential.
The role has potential to expand into running workshops for choirs, individual singers, young artists etc depending on the skills and experience of the person in the role.
Projects Coordinator – Malawi
This role involves responsibility for:
- writing project proposals,
- formulating budgets, writing project reports,
- maintaining relationships with donors,
- overseeing ministry finances (pending appointment of an accountant),
- handling all external enquiries, and
- preparing material for Board meetings and for external speaking events.
This role is suitable for an experienced person able to work with minimum supervision, and the team would welcome candidates with a corporate background.
