Serving with refugees overseas
Brian and Christine Cottrell
Glasgow, Scotland
Brian and Christine have recently relocated from Athens, Greece to Glasgow, Scotland. In their work with refugees and asylum seekers, they are involved in teaching English, several drop-in centres, and a local church plant. They have three children, Emily, Melanie and Harry.

Linda Goldthorpe
Innsbruck, Austria
Linda has been serving among refugees in Innsbruck, Austria for several years. Linda is passionate about sharing Christ’s love with refugees in Austria, who arrive there from all over the world. Linda’s sending church is Dalby Presbyterian Church and Linda was encouraged by a visit from a short-term mission team from her church in May 2010.

David Field
Traiskirchen, Austria
David Field has been working with refugees at the Oasis, in Traiskirchen, Austria since 2004. At the Oasis, he meets with refugees over coffee, helps out in the second hand clothing store, runs bible studies and seeks to share the gospel as he builds relationships with people. He has a deep heart for refugees from the middle east to meet Jesus. David’s sending church is Windsor Baptist Church in Sydney, NSW.

Serving with refugees in Australia
Brendan and Sally Jones
Sydney Refugee Team, Australia
Brendan and Sally have been serving with the Sydney Refugee Team for over two years. They have stepped up to take on leadership of the team in 2011. Brendan and Sally are passionate about developing lasting friendships with those among whom they serve and love to share stories of God at work among refugees in Australia. They have three sons, Jacob, Thomas and Oliver.

Reuben and Sarah Singleton (International Teams UK)
Sydney Refugee Team, Australia
Reuben and Sarah have been serving with the Sydney Refugee Team since 2000. During this time they have witnessed the transforming power of God at work over and over and they have developed lasting relationships with many refugee families around Western Sydney. In 2011 Reuben is handing over leadership of the Team, in order to take on a more significant leadership role in International Teams refugee ministries globally and further developing RIDE for Refugees Australia. They have four children, Abigail, Elijah, Joel and Nathan.

Cilicia Geier
Sydney Refugee Team
Cilicia is very passionate about sharing the Good News about Jesus with people, especially refugees. Cilicia is currently raising support to join the Sydney Refugee Team.
Nathan and Sarah Kuku
Sydney Refugee Team, Australia
Having arrived in Australia as refugees Nathan and Sarah bring a unique aspect to the ministry of the Sydney Refugee Team with its focus on the Sudanese. They have four children, Joel, Jotham, Joanna and Joyce. They both became Australian Citizens on the 26th January 2005.

Emma Steenholdt
Carlton Refugee Team, Australia
Emma first served with the Carlton Refugee Team in an International Teams Summer Team in December 2003 while she was a student at Tahlee Bible College. Emma has been serving with the Carlton for a number of years. She has one daughter.
Serving in anti-slavery ministry
Annette Wilson
Nea Zoi Team, Athens, Greece
Annette has been serving with the Nea Zoi Team since May 2010. The team is involved in outreach and ministry to those working in the brothels of Athens. Annette has been directly involved with ministry and English teaching to some of the young Nigerian women.
(Coming soon) Kelsey Talbott (International Teams USA)
Sydney, Australia
Kelsey has been in involved in ministry to those who are rescued from slavery in the US and in Athens, Greece. Her passion is for training those who care for the young people rescued from slavery. She has recently moved to Australia and based initially from the National Office, Kelsey will be seeking to educate individuals and churches to develop an increased awareness of slavery and trafficking.

Serving in Central America
Phil and Sandy Jones
Queretaro, Mexico
Phil Jones commenced serving in Queretaro, Mexico in early 2008. He met his wife Sandy at the local church and they were married in March 2010. Phil is deeply passionate about Jesus’ command to make disciples. After working with the local church in youth and young adult ministry for his first term of service, Phil, together with his wife Sandy are now seeking to reach out to university students in Queretaro through RenovArte Cafe, which opened its’ doors in November 2010.

Serving in Latin America
Nathan and Kate Spies
Cochabamba, Bolivia
Nathan and Kate Spies are serving the local church in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Through Roots Association, an organisation they have established, they have a vision to grow strong Christian ministries led by Bolivian Nationals, which are in turn forming authentic disciples who reflect the character and priorities of Christ. They have three daughters Lily, Daisy and Poppy.

John and Kathy Harris
Europe Regional Office, Netherlands
John and Kathy Harris are serving in the Europe Regional Office. They are involved in teaching and ministry to pastors, students and missionaries throughout Europe. They have two sons, Andre and Dane and they love being an integral part of the ministry team at Thousand Hills International Church.
